Snowmass Village Town Council has initiated a targeted update of the  1998 Comprehensive Plan that will include work on the Village Mall and Transit Center Planning.  This update will refine the long-range vision of the Town and act as a guide and resource for additional development, character enhancement and future needs for the Town, residents and guests.  This updated is targeted, in that it will address only certain elements of the Comprehensive Plan.

This is an exciting process in which the Town staff hopes to engage the entire community in determining how the Town should grow and change over the next 10-20 years.  There are resources throughout the website to become involved, learn about planning, respond to issues and get your voice heard!

The development of the base area has helped dictate the need for a consistent vision and subsequently, a document that helps to guide actions and goals toward that vision.  This process will help to maintain the unique and high quality of life standard that we enjoy and want to preserve.
